Ryan Bingham’s The Great Western is coming to Dickies Arena on Saturday, October 12th!
THE GREAT WESTERN is more than just a music festival; it’s a meticulously curated celebration of Western culture. The event will kick off with a diverse array of indoor and outdoor daytime experiences, bringing the festival experience to life in an entirely new and immersive way. Giddy Up on over to Dickies Arena for a Western Experience! Schedule line-up below:
- Main Western Experience – Doors open 4:30pm / Show starts at 5pm
- Daytime Rodeo – Doors open 11:45am / Rodeo starts at Noon
Ryan Bingham will headline the evening’s main arena experience, joined by an impressive lineup that includes Americana ensemble Shane Smith & The Saints, country legend Tanya Tucker, Mexican American country artist Louie The Singer, Bears Teeth Singers and a Mandan, Hidatsa, & Arikara drum group. Together, this blend of established and emerging talent will entertain festival goers with a genre-defying exploration through Western music’s past, present, and future.
Daytime stages will feature performances by Vincent Neil Emerson, Angel White, Brennen Leigh, Scott Ballew, and Cayuga All-Stars, along with a special focus on local singer-songwriters.
At its heart, the Bull Ring Pavilion will come alive for the daytime rodeo with a fusion of high-energy competition and age-old traditions. Invited bull riding athletes from various associations and organizations, including the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, Cuernos Chuecos, Indian National Finals Rodeo, International Professional Rodeo Association, Professional Bull Riders, and Ultimate Bull Fighters, will compete in an exhilarating western showcase of skill and camaraderie. More than just a thrilling spectacle, the event will celebrate the rich history and significant contributions of these cultures to the evolution of both the rodeo experience and the greater Western culture we have come to cherish.
Adding to the excitement, spectators will have an opportunity to experience the artistry of the Charro, led by the world-renowned Tomas Garcilazo, witness the sacred inter-tribal dances inspired by Native American traditions, featuring the Ingenious Nations Dance Group, and enjoy the adrenaline-pumping excitement of American Freestyle Bullfighting.
General admission tickets for the Main Arena Experience (5PM – 10PM) start at $59.50. Fans can upgrade for the Daytime Rodeo & Western Experience for a $40 add-on (12pm – 5pm).
