The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC) and Trail Drive Management Corp. join in mourning the loss of rock and roll legend Dusty Hill and send our condolences to the ZZ Top family.

The Oct. 4 show at Dickies Arena featuring ZZ Top, Pat Green and Zach Bryan is still scheduled and will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. Long-time friend of the band Elwood Francis will step in as ZZ Top’s bassist.

ZZ Top resumed their tour last Friday with Elwood, who was ZZ Top’s long-time guitar tech. The band will play at Dickies Arena before continuing their U.S. tour, which includes a five-night stint in Las Vegas.
